The Dark Night Returns.

As you may have noticed Voodoo took a break from late May but is to return better than ever in the new look Clear nightclub, formerly the Beat Bar. The initial plan to move to Eden has not happened. One look at the revamped Clear is enough to see that it is ideal for Voodoo's purpose. Techno-disco yet dark and low ceilinged, loadsa dancing space and a strangely Tardis feel.

This WILL be the top techno club in the universe, or something. As if to reaffirm the the move to another league who better to open up the proceedings than Detroit acidgod Jeff Mills accompanied by the multi-talented new monthly resident David Holmes.

Many people felt that it was time to move on after three years in existence, the latter two at Le Bateau. The offer of a move to the new Eden club giving Claire, the promoter, a much needed kick up the arse. Her words not mine. The main priority is to keep the crowd as up for it as always. Some punters felt that the vibe would not transfer to a big, bright venue like Eden. Well thats that sorted out.

The good news doesn't stop here, oh no. The dress code remains non-existent. There will be not one but two guests every week. Two new monthly residents Kris Needs and David Holmes. Loads of fab new guests including Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and Dave Clarke. And if you aren't wetting your pants by now they're opening two hours longer than previous - 9:30 till 3:30. Eeek.
