Не бихте могли да си измислите историята на Крис Нийдс. Или,ако го направите, никой не би ви повярвал. Тридесет годишната му любовна история с музиката започнала като тинейджър, когато ръководел фен клуба на David Bowie и Mott the Hoople. Своето
призвание обаче открива, когато става рок журналист. Крис скоро започва да прекарва дълги опияняващи нощи с Кийт Ричърдс /Rolling Stones/,

2. Kris Needs
Kris Needs started collecting records in 1968 and now owns over 25,000 records. He currently enjoys playing NY boogie from the early 80's, but his local pub where he still DJs regularly gets anything from the Sex Pistols to Chic. Kris hates musical boxing and often tries to spice things up, at the Prodigy gig in Brixton he played "Anarchy in the UK" before the band came on.

3. Kris Needs, a DJ, started in the music business running fan clubs for David Bowie and Mott The Hoople in 1972. He edited seminal punk fanzie Zigzag between 1977 and 1982, and toured with The Clash, Blondie and The Ramones, among others. In 1986 Kris got involved with hip hop and moved to New York where he met Arthur Baker and generally took in the Bronx scene of the mid to late eighties. He returned to the UK in 1990, immediately getting involved with the acid house scene at its heyday, an wrote for all the main music press publications.
At this time he formed Secret Knowledge and Delta Lady, who released the "Sugar Daddy" and "Anything You Want" singles, and undertook lot of remixes for the likes of Primal Scream, Prodigy, The Orb, Hardfloor and The Boo Radleys. Consequently, he became the tour DJ for The Orb, Primal Scream, Prodigy, as well as The Aloof and went on to release the Secret Knowledge "So Hard" LP for Deconstruction.
In November 1997 he founded Creation Records' dance offshoot Eruption, and started the clubnight of the same name on a monthly basis at the notorious 333 Club in London.
He continues to run Eruption, and appears as a DJ at 333 Club and at the Sonik Mook Experiment at the new Scala venue. He is currently recording as Rozzer's Dog with D.A.V.E. The Drummer, as Hibee Nation with Irvine Welsh and also records with Manumission. He completed his autobiography for Virgin Books which has been published this September.
